House of Peers
The Upper House of Parliament is the House of Peers. The House consist of 100 Peers; 25 of whom are appointed by the monarch and the other 75 are hereditary. The House is led by the Lord Speaker who is elected every six years.
House of Commons
The Lower House of Parliament is the House of Commons. The House consist of 150 MPs who are elected by the people every three years. The House is led by the Speaker of the House who is elected at the start of every term.
